The Dezful Infectious and Tropical Diseases Research Center is a scientific-research center in the field of health, affiliated with Dezful University of Medical Sciences. This center officially started its activities in 2021, with the collaboration of well-known researchers and professors of the university. To fund research projects, financial support from the Ministry of Health and Medical Education and the establishment of joint projects with industry and other private and government institutions are anticipated. The center believes that Iranian citizens participating in its research projects have an inherent right to benefit from the results of research and free health and medical services, and will adhere to this principle. Recognizing the equality of all humans, regardless of skin color, religious beliefs, and nationality, based on the lofty principles of medical ethics, is one of the most important commitments of this center.
